Domofocus Suspended Gas Fireplace
Domofocus Gas: Suspended 360° Fireplace by Focus
The Domofocus Gas is a suspended gas fireplace by Focus, designed by Dominique Imbert as a more compact interpretation of the iconic Gyrofocus. Its 1.10m hearth has a wider opening than its predecessor, offering a broader view of the flame. Suspended centrally from a made-to-measure flue, the hearth rotates through 360°, so the fire can be turned towards seating, dining or a view as the space requires, while a remote-controlled burner provides instant ignition and precise flame control.
Conceived as a sculptural focal point, it is particularly suited to open-plan and double-height spaces in luxury residential and hospitality projects. Modus Fireplaces specifies, coordinates and installs the Domofocus Gas across the UK, resolving flue routing, ceiling structure and gas supply so that each installation becomes an integral architectural feature.

Heat created by fireplaces is influenced by several factors, mainly fuel type and fireplace design. Our suspended fireplaces generally provide ambient heat and are often specified as architectural features rather than primary heat sources. Correct specification ensures the right balance between performance and design intent
Yes. Focus fireplaces can be installed in the UK, provided they are correctly specified to meet local regulations and project requirements. As an exclusive UK partner, Modus ensures each installation is compliant, technically resolved, and fully integrated into the design

Architectural fireplaces, designed without precedent
If you can conceive it, we can deliver it. That is what Modus does best. Working closely with our in-house design team, and in collaboration with Europe's leading manufacturers, we develop fireplaces that respond precisely to the architecture, materiality, and intent of each project. The result is a fireplace tailor-made for its setting, and for no other.
Every element is open to specification, from stone, metal, and finish through to proportion and detailing.
Each fireplace is engineered in close partnership with Europe's leading manufacturers, with structural detailing and combustion performance resolved as part of the design.
We work as an extension of the project team, from concept through to commissioning, so the fireplace sits within the architecture rather than against it.
