Bespoke Three-Sided Linear Gas Fireplace
A custom-made canopy curves gently above the fire, giving the fireplace a distinctive sculptural form and softening the strong horizontal proportions of the burner. The open design provides an uninterrupted view through and around the flames, creating a greater sense of depth and connection with the surrounding space.
Shown here as a gas fireplace, the design can also be developed as a bioethanol fireplace, depending on the practical and technical requirements of the project. The linear burner is surrounded by dark lava stones, creating a simple contemporary fire bed that complements the black interior of the canopy.
The fireplace is set above bespoke joinery featuring a stone top and fluted timber panelling, bringing the fire, furniture and surrounding interior together as one integrated design.
