Modern Gas Fireplace with Ribbed Steel Interior
The interior features a ribbed steel back panel, adding texture and depth behind the flames. A flush-fitting gas burner is recessed into the base of the fireplace and dressed with realistic ceramic logs and coal, creating the appearance and atmosphere of a traditional fire within a distinctly modern design. The open front provides an uninterrupted view of the flame and fire bed.
The fireplace sits on a slightly raised stone hearth and has been positioned low within the chimney breast. This allows the television above to remain at a comfortable viewing height, creating a balanced arrangement without placing the screen too high on the wall.
Shown here as a gas fireplace, the design can also be developed as a bioethanol fire or, where the flue and technical requirements allow, as a wood-burning fireplace. The size, materials and internal finishes can be tailored to suit the architecture and interior design of each project.
