Bespoke Open-Front Gas Fireplace Media Wall
The fireplace is framed in hand-finished blue steel, selected for its natural tonal variation, subtle markings and distinctive surface texture. The dark metalwork gives the fireplace depth and definition while providing a strong contrast with the surrounding joinery.
Shown here as a gas fire, the large burner is dressed with a carefully arranged combination of realistic ceramic logs and coal. This creates a natural-looking fire bed and a lively flame, bringing warmth and atmosphere to the contemporary interior. The fireplace can also be designed as a bioethanol fire where a gas supply or conventional flue arrangement is not suitable.
A recessed television is positioned above the fire beneath a custom-made canopy. The canopy has been finished in a specialist coating chosen to complement the blue steel fireplace surround and the wider material palette of the room. The result is a fully integrated feature wall in which the fireplace, television, metalwork and bespoke joinery form one complete design.
