Contemporary Three-Sided Open-Front Gas Fireplace
The fireplace is recessed into a stone-clad base, giving it a grounded and integrated appearance within the room. A deep matt black back panel adds contrast behind the flames and strengthens the clean, angular character of the design. The long linear burner is set with lava stones, giving the fire bed a simple contemporary finish that works well with the strong horizontal form of the fireplace.
Shown here as a gas fire, the design can also be developed as a bioethanol fireplace, depending on the technical requirements of the project. With its open three-sided form, long ribbon of flame and restrained material palette, this is a distinctly modern fireplace that suits carefully detailed contemporary spaces.
