Contemporary Gas Fireplace with Angular Steel Mantel
The surround is fabricated from steel and shown here in a painted finish. It can also be produced in matt black, metallic finishes or a project-specific colour selected to complement the wider interior. The restrained geometry allows the mantel to provide a clear focal point without relying on decorative detailing.
Designed around a hole-in-the-wall fireplace, the surround can be configured for either a gas, wood-burning fire or bioethanol fires, subject to the requirements of the project. The fireplace dimensions, internal lining and fuel-bed decoration can all be tailored to suit the proportions, finishes and character of the room.
The result is a contemporary fireplace that combines the recognisable form of a mantel with a cleaner, more sculptural steel design.
