This bespoke contemporary gas fireplace combines a 2.6-metre-wide opening with a 2.4-metre linear burner, creating a long dancing flame across the centre of the installation. Its generous proportions make the fireplace a striking focal point, while the simple horizontal opening retains a clean, minimalist appearance.

Floor-to-ceiling black glass panels surround the fireplace, creating a seamless feature wall with a strong contrast between the dark reflective surface and the movement of the flame. A recessed television is discreetly integrated behind the glazing, allowing the fireplace, screen and surrounding wall to form one complete contemporary media installation.

Shown here as a gas fire, the fireplace is fully remote controlled, providing straightforward ignition and precise adjustment of the flame. The design can also be developed as a bioethanol fireplace where a gas supply or conventional flue arrangement is not suitable.

Each fireplace is custom made and available in a wide range of sizes. The proportions of the opening, burner and decorative panels can be adapted to suit both large contemporary interiors and smaller living spaces, while retaining the same clean, linear design.
