Bespoke Three-Sided Open Gas Fireplace with Floating Canopy
The real-flame gas burner is recessed flush into a Belgian bluestone-clad base and dressed with realistic ceramic logs and coal. The stone base extends beyond the width of the fireplace, strengthening the horizontal proportions of the installation and providing a substantial platform beneath the open fire.
A matt black back panel sits behind the burner, creating contrast and helping the movement and colour of the flames stand out more clearly. The combination of dark steel, blue-grey stone and the floating canopy gives the fireplace a clean, restrained appearance suited to modern interiors.
Shown here as a gas fire, the design can also be developed as a bioethanol fireplace where required. The dimensions, stone finish, canopy and internal detailing can all be tailored to suit the architecture and material palette of the project.
