Designer Suspended Fireplace with Bronze Glass Canopy
This bespoke centrepiece fireplace combines a square suspended canopy with tall glass panels, creating an elegant architectural feature at the heart of the room. Shown here with bronze-tinted glass, the fireplace can also be specified with clear or grey-tinted glazing to complement the wider interior palette.A long, low level stone-clad base extends beyond the fireplace and incorporates custom-made floating metal shelves above as an integral part of the design.
Rather than treating the fireplace, base and shelving as separate elements, the composition brings them together as one carefully curated feature.Positioned centrally within the interior, the fireplace can be viewed from across the room, helping to connect the surrounding living areas and draw the space together around the flame. The tall glazing maintains open sightlines while giving the fireplace a strong sculptural presence.Shown here as a gas fire with realistic log and coal decoration, the design can also be produced as a bioethanol fireplace.
