Commissioned for the entrance lounge at the prestigious White City Living development, this bespoke four-sided glass island fireplace serves as a dramatic architectural centrepiece beneath a 5-metre-high ceiling.
A suspended stone-clad canopy responds to the scale and volume of the space, while the fully glass-enclosed island form allows the flickering flame to be viewed from every angle - creating warmth and visual connection throughout the room. A low-level joinery base with a dark stone top grounds the composition with a refined material contrast.
The concept can be tailored across a variety of architectural contexts, from alternative cladding finishes to open-fronted configurations, with integrated media solutions including television within the overhead canopy available subject to design and technical considerations.
