Holly Croft is a refined London residence where Modus Fireplaces designed and installed three bespoke fireplaces (2 indoor and 1 outdoor) which are unified through a clear architectural approach.

01
The Brief

Create distinct focal points across multiple living areas

Maintain a consistent material language

Replace existing traditional fireplaces with contemporary designs

Introduce an outdoor element that complements the interior

02
The Solution

Two internal gas fireplaces and one outdoor fire table were designed, each bespoke to its setting

Main Living Space‍

Aged brass mantel introduces warmth and richness

Fluted steel lined chamber adds texture and detail

Log effect burner softens the overall aesthetic

Installed within an existing chimney breast

Bar Area‍

Matching aged brass surround ensures continuity

Designed for ease of use and atmosphere

Connects visually with the main living space

‍

Outdoor Fire Table‍

Asymmetrical design creates a more architectural form

Bronze painted finish complements the interior palette

Removable top allows use as a coffee table.

03
Design Approach

Work alongside the interior designer to ensure a consistent material palette ties the scheme together, with each fireplace fully integrated within the architecture

04
Outcome

The fireplaces are distinct in form yet unified in intent, enhancing both interior and exterior living

BESPOKE DESIGN

Architectural fireplaces, designed without precedent

If you can conceive it, we can deliver it. That is what Modus does best. Working closely with our in-house design team, and in collaboration with Europe's leading manufacturers, we develop fireplaces that respond precisely to the architecture, materiality, and intent of each project. The result is a fireplace tailor-made for its setting, and for no other.

01
Material Choices

Every element is open to specification, from stone, metal, and finish through to proportion and detailing.

02
Precision Engineering

Each fireplace is engineered in close partnership with Europe's leading manufacturers, with structural detailing and combustion performance resolved as part of the design.

03
Seamless Integration

We work as an extension of the project team, from concept through to commissioning, so the fireplace sits within the architecture rather than against it.
